Please do not shampoo your hair 3 to 4 days prior to consultation.

Please bring any medications or supplements you are currently taking. We need complete labwork provided by your doctor or a laboratory of your choice. The labwork must be taken 3 months or less

In many cases, yes. Most insurance companies cover 80%–100% of the cost when the prosthesis is prescribed for medical reasons. We recommend asking your doctor for a prescription that says “Cranial Prosthesis,” “Medical Wig,” or “Medical Hair System.”. Note that this could vary depending on your insurance coverage.
